October 7, 2022Listen, folks. I’m not a huge fan of little kids. I’ll say it. I work with teenagers on purpose and only go to the elementary facility at my job under extreme duress. I could watch kids tip over on bikes all day and it’ll be as funny at 8 PM as it was at 8 AM.
But this is SERIOUSLY effed.
Daycare workers in Mississippi apparently thought it would be a grand idea for one of them to put a Scream mask, go into their tiny toddler classrooms, and absolutely terrorize rooms full of little kids. Like, get up in their faces and scream, then laaaauuuugh and laugh while the kiddos are absolutely terrified.
There is footage, but I’m putting the tweet at the end of the article because it is genuinely heartbreaking.
Because there is some justice in the world, these employees have been canned. But because there’s not quite enough justice in the world, the county judge has not given the parents of all involved children permission to get together, work as a team, and cooperate to beat the ever-loving sh*t out of these freaks.
No criminal charges have been brought forward, but the investigation is still ongoing. While there’s no obvious laws that have been broken (because, regrettably, it’s not illegal to be an absolute wanker), it shouldn’t be that hard to make an argument that this has seriously damaged the well-being of the kiddos involved in, like, a very criminal way.

You get what you pay for, until wages for these workers is competitive, they’ll continue to get some dregs. I stayed home/worked from home all my kids lives, it would have been easier, less stressful to go into an office!
Really? Your takeaway from this is, “They should be paid more”? Sorry, but that’s nonsense. This has nothing to do with wages and everything to do with people today viewing anyone weaker as fair game for whatever the stronger party wants to dish out.
Being a decent f’ing human being isn’t contingent on pay rates.
I highly doubt this is in any way correlated to pay.
This is clearly trying to get a viral video for social clout, which more oft than not will lead to very poor decision making.
They should be charged with terroristic threatening! Or, at the very least, child abuse!
