In episode 514 of the Modern Wisdom Podcast by Chris Williamson, he interviews Peter Zeihan, a geopolitical analyst and author. When asked by Williamson which country should be most concerned about the ratio of young to old, Zeihan immediately answered “China.”

First, how do you overcount by one hundred million people? And second, who would have thought the government regulating how many children a family can have would have adverse effects? I’m shook. [*eye roll*]
“It’s beyond terminal,” Zeihan said of the situation. “So, the Chinese system collapses this decade for sure. Assuming nothing else goes wrong, and there’s plenty of other competitors to put the bullet in China’s head.”
BUT WHO WILL MAKE ALL OF OUR CHEAP PRODUCTS? AND SEND US THINLY VEILED THREATS ON A WEEKLY BASIS IF CHINA CRASHES? Okay, probably Russia, but it just won’t be the same.
But in all seriousness, Elon Musk and clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson have been sounding the population alarm for a while. Despite liberals screaming that we’re destroying the planet with our presence, these two have clearly voiced the opposite will be the issue.
“… I’ve thought for at least 10 years that the biggest problem in 50 years will be that there’s not enough people,” Peterson said. “… all the countries in the west are way below replacement.”
You hear that, conservatives? We were right all along. Get married and have ALL THE BABIES. Not only will you be happy and fulfilled—the world is depending on you.

My wife and I have seven children (one of whom has already started giving us grandchildren). So I’ve done my part to save the planet.
Hubby and I have a blended family of six kids, fourteen grands and seven great-grands. We’re doing our part, too.
China was deliberately trying to reduce it’s population through the one child policy, however this combined with their various inheritance laws created a toxic environment where you were dramatically overproducing males to females. Historically when a nation or tribe have been in a state like this they start resorting to war/raiding to acquire the resource they lack aka women because the worst case scenario is that they have less men to worry about.
