Florida politicians and officials seems to be willing to say all the things that the leftist regime does NOT want people to hear. Which is probably why the mainstream media establishment is obsessed with vilifying them. But the American people benefit when people are willing to say the unpopular things. People should always have all the information and make their own decisions, rather than being forced into a decision based on carefully curated information.
Today, Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo, who has made waves before for his COVID related statements, just announced new guidance regarding the COVID mRNA vaccines. Ultimately, the new “Guidance for mRNA COVID-19 Vaccines” states, “The State Surgeon General now recommends against the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines for males ages 18-39 years old.”
The announcement states,
“The Florida Department of Health (Department) conducted an analysis through a self-controlled case series, which is a technique originally developed to evaluate vaccine safety.
This analysis found that there is an 84% increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18-39 years old within 28 days following mRNA vaccination. With a high level of global immunity to COVID-19, the benefit of vaccination is likely outweighed by this abnormally high risk of cardiac-related death among men in this age group. Non-mRNA vaccines were not found to have these increased risks.
As such, the State Surgeon General recommends against males aged 18 to 39 from receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines. Those with preexisting cardiac conditions, such as myocarditis and pericarditis, should take particular caution when making this decision.
The analysis can be found here, and the official Florida Department of Health guidance can be found here.
Today, we released an analysis on COVID-19 mRNA vaccines the public needs to be aware of. This analysis showed an increased risk of cardiac-related death among men 18-39. FL will not be silent on the truth.

The new guidance states,
“Based on currently available data, patients should be informed of the possible cardiac complications that can arise after receiving a mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. With a high level of global immunity to COVID-19, the benefit of vaccination is likely outweighed by this abnormally high risk of cardiac- related death among men in this age group.”
They also reiterate their March guidance against the vaccination of “healthy children and adolescents 5 years old to 17 years old.”
It is important to note that there are certainly limitations to the data collected and the methodology. Even Florida’s own analysis states, “These data are preliminary, based on surveillance data, and should be interpreted with caution. The results have several limitations.” But at least they’re talking about and investigating the risk. They are doing what should have been done for the last 2 years, which is investigating and openly discussing the potential risks of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines.
For two years, the mainstream media and medical establishment has pretended like there are absolutely no risks whatsoever, and that anyone who draws attention to potential risks is clearly a dangerous disinformationist who is anti-vaccine. But it’s important to study and discuss the potential risks of ALL medical treatments. There are a whole heck of a lot of medical professionals who feel that the American public at large has not been allowed to make an “informed decision” about the vaccine because they were never afforded all the information. They were only given the information that supported the narrative that the COVID vaccines were America’s only option. And clearly, despite the limitations of the analysis, the surgeon general of the state feels uncomfortable with healthy young men getting a vaccination which preliminary data indicates may not be safe for them. And that should be enough! If you care more about people than the narrative, then at this point, that should be enough. But what are a few “died suddenly” cases of healthy young men when the greater COVID narrative is at stake…
Ultimately, I’m sure that the science here will be attacked on every side, as will Florida’s Surgeon General and Governor DeSantis, but at least it’s finally being very publicly talked about. And that is in the best interest of all Americans.

I oft wonder what the pandemic would have looked like had it occurred just after an election.
It’s very clear that early on everyone was concerned as their was a lot of cooperation between all political entities but soon after you could see a clear shift as it become not an issue of health but of politics.
