Education Secretary Miguel Cardona just sat next to Joe Biden to discuss abortion access and explained that he is concerned about maintaining college students’ access to “contraception and reproductive health services.” I’m totally with him so far. He then goes on to explain that “students need access to healthcare to thrive in school and in life, and that includes reproductive healthcare.” Again, I’m totally with him. Sounds reasonable.
But here’s where we diverge. His whole point is that access to abortion is reproductive healthcare, which is what he claims college students need in order to thrive in school and in life. And I don’t agree that being easily and legally allowed to kill a baby growing inside of you counts as reproductive healthcare, nor that a college student needs access to that in order to thrive in school and in life.
In fact, I think that a lot of women who get pregnant in college would disagree that access to abortion was required in order for them to thrive in school and life. I got pregnant in college. I finished my degree while pregnant. I worked in my chosen field while pregnant and with an infant, as well as working outside my chosen field while pregnant to pay the bills. I thrived both in school and in life while also being pregnant with a baby that I kept. It’s actually a little condescending to insinuate that the only way a woman can thrive in school and life is if they’re able to abort their baby, or that having a baby would hinder their ability to thrive in school and life.

This is a really complicated issue. In an environment where students need to solve many problems, abortion becomes a particularly difficult topic. As a student, I realize how difficult it is and how much I need help. After finding https://literaturereviewwritingservice.com/help-with-writing-a-systematic-review/ , I found answers to many questions. Now I have more time to relax, and having received even a little support, I feel how much it has made my life easier.
I want to tell you about a reliable partner in my studies, and I could always rely on their expertise. At my college, essay services, including masterpapers, played an important role in maintaining the spirit and standard of education. I have used this service often and it has delivered outstanding results every time. These professional writers not only helped me with my assignments, but also provided me with valuable knowledge and skills that I could use in the future.
Apparently the centuries and centuries of higher education history is one giant abject failure until university and abortion came together.
My mom went back to college and got her bachelor’s degree after her and my dad divorced. She was in her late 30’s and early 40’s. She had 6 kids, mostly teenagers, at home at the time and she worked full time. My mom is very much prolife. So, post birth abortion of certain siblings was out, but I still stood my ground and strenuously advocated that at least with a couple of my younger brothers we attempt to adopt them out, or just drop off on a dark country road. Either worked for me. Much like marriage now, back then I was always told my opinion did not matter, so I still graciously suffer with their presence on holidays. (Yes, I consider myself very much the victim in this sad tale.)
Well Natalie I’m very happy to hear that you were able to finish college while pregnant and having a brand new baby at the time. You are proof that this Miguel guy is an idiot. Yeah. These leftests are so desperate when it comes to women being able to murder unborn babies.
