Biden Admitted ON NATIONAL TELEVISION That His Student Loan “Forgiveness” Is Illegal And Unconstitutional.

According to Charles C.W. Cooke, Biden slipped up in his 60 Minutes interview this past weekend and he “admitted aloud that his decision to transfer up to a trillion dollars in student-loan debt to taxpayers without congressional approval is flatly unconstitutional.“

Yikes.

This is what happens when you go off script, amirite?

Apparently, “the memo that the Biden administration released to justify his order rested entirely upon there being an ongoing emergency, and because, as Biden has just confirmed, there is no ongoing emergency.“

But wait. There’s more.

Back in August, Biden’s lawyers argued with half-straight faces that the 2003 HEROES Act — which, as Bloomberg Law has noted, was passed not as a generalized enabling act but “to help borrowers serving in the military in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks” — could be twisted to apply to any national emergency, including pandemics such as Covid-19. 

The notion of paying off other people’s debts was completely bogus to begin with, but it’s even more bogus now, because Biden stated – very clearly – on 60 Minutes, that the pandemic is over. That “national emergency” thing? Well, it actually ISN’T a thing at all anymore. Which was the premise of him paying off deadbeat’s debts to begin with. Go figure.

I won’t hold my breath for any of our gutless representatives to actually DO anything about this? But Cooke is 100% correct. And Biden is 100% caught in his B.S.
