FBI Agent Who Opened Trump Probe And Helped Lead Hunter Laptop Probe Fired For Political Bias

You really can’t make this stuff up. According to a story by the Washington Times, Timothy Thibault, a 25-year veteran of the FBI, has been on leave for the last month following “revelations about political statements he made while leading the public corruption unit.” According to Sen. Chuck Grassley, Thibault publicly expressed his support for several opinion articles which were considered “highly partisan,” and made numerous hyper-partisan anti-Trump posts on social media back in 2020. And now, he has been terminated from the FBI and was escorted from the building amid numerous accusations of political bias.

This is the same special agent who whistleblowers alleged intentionally “concealed the partisan nature of evidence from FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland to secure their approval to open an investigation into former President Donald Trump in 2020.“

While he has come under heavy scrutiny over these anti-Trump statements from 2020 and the suspicious nature of him opening an investigation into Trump (especially in the wake of the Mar-a-Lago raid), it’s interesting to note what else was happening during this timeframe.

Thibault was also a leader in the FBI’s probe of Hunter Biden following the discovery of the Laptop From Hell, and while Hunter’s father was a presidential candidate campaigning against Trump. Recently, whistleblowers alleged that FBI brass intentionally delayed and suppressed the investigation into the Hunter Biden laptop ahead of the critical 2020 election, which a new poll revealed likely would have changed the outcome of the election.

So let’s recap. We have an agent who allegedly lied to launch an investigation into Trump while also making public hyper-partisan anti-Trump statements, and who was a leader in the Hunter Biden laptop investigation that was allegedly intentionally delayed and suppressed, thereby directly impacting the results of the 2020 election.

Now consider that this agent, Timothy Thibault, was also the face of the FBI’s efforts to “combat election fraud.” Like I said, you can’t make this stuff up.
