This Sesame Street Flashback Just Gave Me ALL THE GLEEEEEES!!! Until I Read More About The Dude In It, And Then I Had ALL THE WEEPS.

This clip is from 1989, but it’s the first time I’m seeing it because – I hope you’re sitting down for this – I haven’t actually seen everything on the internet.

Anyway, it’s a clip from Sesame Street from forever ago, and at the end, they have this adorable little kid BACK ON THE SHOW 20 years later, and he was in the Air Force and seemed like just the nicest dude ever.

Cue the glees. I had so many of them.

But then I thought to myself, “Self – I wonder where that guy is NOW” – and holy crap I wish I hadn’t looked.

According to this, he may or may not be a registered sex offender now. There are almost too many coincidences suggesting he is in fact a sex offender, but Snopes still lists it as “Unproven.” So who knows.

I’m an optimist, so I’m gonna go ahead and try to convince myself that he served in the Air Force honorably, and then settled down with a nice woman and had a buncha kids, and is gainfully employed and contributing positively to society.

In the meantime, WATCH. IT IS SO PRECIOUS. Even if dude became a sex offender, I’m still gonna appreciate the sweet innocence of this clip, in the same way I still enjoy Michael Jackson’s music.
