August 8, 2022Once upon a time, people with fundamental differences of opinion or values lived by an implicit understanding to “live and let live.” You live your life how you want, and I’ll live my life how I want, and even though we fundamentally disagree on how those lives should be lived, at least we can coexist peacefully.
But that time has passed. The radical woke left has eliminated the “live and let live” option. They expect you to actively participate in and champion their personal preferences, values, and opinions, even if they are fundamentally contrary to your own. The reverse, however, is not true. They feel no obligation to support your preferences, values, and opinions, because yours do not matter to them.
Actually, that’s not true. They matter very much, but not in a good way. They believe your preferences, values, and opinions are “violence” or “bigotry” and must be eliminated from society altogether. So not only do they not dignify you with support for your values despite demanding unconditional support from you for their own values, but they are actively working to destroy and eliminate your values from every aspect of our society.
The following video of a college student explaining why official policies should be changed to force you to support their preferences, values, and opinions is just one example of this. If you continue to think that you can stay out of the social and cultural conflict by sticking with the easy “live and let live” policy that feels familiar, I’m here to tell you that you cannot. You cannot sit back passively in order to avoid conflict, because they are actively working to destroy and eliminate your values. They aren’t living and letting live. It’s time to stand up and speak out before you find yourself sitting in a radically woke authoritarian society wherein you are very much the enemy and wishing you’d stood up and spoken out while you still had the right to do so. Fight at least as hard for your values as they are fighting to destroy them.

The ignorance of the young is absolutely astounding.
I liked one woman’s comment on the actual Twitter thread that said something like, “Cool. So call me cis and go to jail.” I feel the same way. If I HAVE to call you some weird pronoun that doesn’t align w the genitalia you were born with, you DO NOT get to call me cis gendered. Identify me as the a biological female. But if you need a more appropriate title, you can call me QUEEN!
My first question would be, how do you view the first amendment? What about the 2nd? Then I would proceed or not proceed from there.
