The mainstream media has proven it is simply the hyper-partisan propaganda arm of the leftist Democrat movement. Check out this incredible example of NBC coverage of Republican Kari Lake’s gubernatorial primary win versus Democrat Stacey Abrams’ gubernatorial primary win.

Let’s break this down a bit. Firstly, check out the difference in the pictures they chose. For Kari Lake, they chose an unflattering candid with an aggressively pointed finger that makes her look very harsh (Lake is actually a lovely woman so the picture isn’t actually ugly). For Stacey Abrams, they chose a carefully posed, smiling headshot.
I also have to choose pictures for my articles, and I can attest that picture selection is intentional. Pictures are often meant to either give information or influence the emotions of readers. So choosing a gently posed smiling photo announcing Abrams as a winner is intended to influence the reader into feeling that Abrams is a gentle and pleasant winner. Conversely, the harsh picture of Lake aggressively pointing her finger is intended to make the reader feel like Lake is harsh and aggressive, both off-putting emotions for a politician.
Secondly, check out how they characterized each candidate. For Republican Lake, they chose to disparagingly label her a “2020 election denier,” an extremely controversial label to which they add no context. They also make sure you know she was “backed by former President Trump,” in case that helps you dislike her more.
But for Democrat Abrams, they very simply state that she won her primary race, carefully excluding any of the controversial or disparaging things they could have included to describe her. Notably, Stacey Abrams is also an “election denier.” She refused to concede her first gubernatorial race against now-Governor Brian Kemp and continues to insist that the election was rigged and stolen from her.
So why didn’t NBC write, “Stacey Abrams, a 2018 election denier who is funded by wealthy out-of-staters, has won the Democratic primary race, NBC News projects”? It’s because they don’t want to say or do anything that might reflect poorly on Stacey Abrams, as she is the candidate supported by the leftist Democrat movement. But they actively want to harm Republican candidates; thus, they cast them in as negative light as possible, even on a benign announcement about winning a primary. It’s election manipulation through information manipulation. The mainstream media are propagandists for the leftist Democrat movement, which sets Republican and conservative candidates at a distinct disadvantage from the beginning.

The funny part is how often Republicans win elections even with reporting like this over the years.
Imagine if there was unbiased reporting, or at least reporting done on even grounds – makes me wonder if far more Republicans would end up in office…
We would very much have a party other than Democrats that Republicans would be competing against as that name would be far too tarnished.
