Have y’all seen this?
Chris Rock, for his part, is starting to finally address the whole incident publicly. In a performance this past Friday night, he said, in part, that “everyone is trying to be a f*cking victim. If everybody claims to be a victim, then nobody will hear the real victims. Even me getting smacked by Suge Smith…I went to work the next day, I got kids. Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face.”
That said, Chris apparently isn’t ready to speak to Will Smith directly just yet.
What do you think? Good apology? Too little too late?

I still think the whole incident was staged to bring attention to the Oscar’s.
Who knows? There is a lot of money at stake and Mr. Smith’s career may never be what it would have been. He is very likely coached by paid consultants on exactly what to say and how to move, eye contact etc. to make it look genuine. Maybe that is why Mr. Rock is not in too quick a mood to meet or talk to him in what would be a photo op or publicity coop for Mr. Smith.
