This is really just an epic example of attempted media manipulation gone very wrong. Check out this article by Axios and take a moment to appreciate how incredibly out-of-touch Axios would have to be to publish this and believe they are dunking on a potential Trump 2024 presidential campaign rather than realizing that it’s literally free campaign advertising for him.
Trump’s top allies are preparing to radically reshape the federal government if he is re-elected, purging potentially thousands of civil servants and filling career posts with loyalists to him and his "America First” ideology.

As somewhat of a wordsmith myself, I easily recognize manipulation in writing. As you read this, you can practically hear the implied disgust and accusation. Using inflammatory and divisive words like “radically reshape,” “purging,” and “loyalists” is intended to evoke negative emotions like disgust, fear, and anxiety in the reader. Even the title and subtitle use the words “radical” and “purge,” and the extremely imprecise term “thousands,” which they are hoping will lead you to assume greater than reality while still technically being true. They are trying to shape your opinion by priming you with their desired negative emotions before you even read the article, which they expect you will then read with their intended sense of disgust, fear, and anxiety.
I respect their efforts, to be honest. Extremely manipulative media organizations aren’t stupid. They know what they’re doing and they’re good at it. That’s how we’ve gotten to the point where so many Americans are entirely oblivious to the fact that they are being constantly manipulated by those who claim to be purveyors and defenders of truth.
But just take a second to consider how out-of-touch Axios would have to be to think they are harming a potential Trump 2024 presidential campaign by publishing what was obviously intended to be a hit piece. Leading the public to believe that he plans to “[purge] potentially thousands of civil servants” if he takes office? Y’all, that was literally his winning platform from 2016: draining the swamp. Getting rid of all the unnecessary, hyper-partisan, captured, beholden, self-serving, career “civil servants” who trade favors and control the nation behind the scenes and contrary to the will and best interest of the American people. That’s also literally one of the top priorities for Americans: imposing term limits to prevent the swamp from refilling.
And the obviously negative insinuation that he would fill positions with people who are loyal “to his ‘America First’ ideology?” Because heaven forbid we should have representatives and politicians who prioritize American interests, citizens, economy, industry, values, and goals. The Biden admin is driving up already historically high inflation as they send tens of billions of American taxpayer dollars to a non-NATO ally for a proxy war with Russia, while simultaneously ignoring an invasion at our own unprotected southern border and ignoring the devastating crimewave destroying our own cities, and Axios thinks they’re dunking on a political opponent for their “‘America First’ ideology” as though that’s a despicable ideology which should turn off voters.
The very lengthy article goes through numerous Trump allies by name and finds any reason to vilify them as dangerous and extremist, including blasting Kash Patel for “establishing an online store selling self-branded merchandise,” calling former Secret Service agent and top-rated podcaster Dan Bongino a “right-wing talk radio provocateur,” and accusing various figures as “still a part of Trumpworld.” The whole thing reads like a desperate attempt to vilify political opponents by throwing every possible insult at them and hoping the sheer volume of insults dissuades voters from supporting them, despite the obvious success and popularity of their platform. If fact, it’s almost like they accidentally wrote an article about why people who are disgusted with the current state of affairs might consider voting for Trump, should he run. Which is hilarious, because it was definitely intended as a damaging hit piece. But that’s just how estranged the mainstream media is from reality and real American interests.

Bart’s statement seems as poorly set up as his grammar.
I love it when they advertise for the opposition. (me) They do it occasionally. The poor things are convinced that they are perfectly normal, and that everyone “thinks” as they do. I would prefer many of them fired and not replace, but the remainder should be replaced by people who are, at the very least, caring about the country they work for—WHICH MUST BE US. Not China, not liberal lalala land, not a “proper world order”, us, ourselves, the USA.
You sound like a commie wanting to control who can have a job.
For not wanting a bloated government?
Putting people into positions by the government is how communism works.
The government is supposed to work for the people and the less people who work for the government the better.
And you sound really unhappy on this website. Do you need help out? If you can’t comment here without trashing every single user than kindly GTFO.
You’re all trash here Miriam. You’re a lying grifter.
Ohhh – gotcha Bert/Ernest/Greg/Troll – you’re that loser who keeps coming back to a site he hates just to feel seen. You do know how pathetic that is, right? And how every time you come back you’ll continue to get banned? I mean, I can play this game just as long as you can. But I’m making a living at it, and you’re just making me money. If you think that’s what grifting is, well then thank you for contributing to it.
No one’s lying here but you. You aren’t even brave enough to use a real identity here. Loser.
If you still support Trump, you anti-America. To hell with secessionist. secessionists.
OK, I’ll play. Why exactly do you think supporting Trump is anti-American?
It’s like arguing with someone who wants to take away the beef patty, cheese, and bun from a cheeseburger but still call it a cheeseburger claiming you are the one who hates cheeseburgers. You will find far more cohesive thoughts from random word generation than you will from most Leftists as there stances are regularly self refuting.
But I feel like having a little fun today.
If you support Trump, you do not support fair and free elections nor the peaceful transfer of power.
Not true. Try again.
>fair and free elections
That is what people were protesting (that lead to a riot). They did/do not think it was fair, especially with things like the state of Pennsylvania in conflict with their constitution.
>nor the peaceful transfer of power
I don’t believe anything stopped that, or even delayed it. Or you talking about objecting to the certification- the same thing congressional Democrats did in 2000, 2004, and 2016.
I’d invoke Hitchen’s razor but good lord you didn’t even assert something that needs to be dismissed as it’s demonstrably not true.
I’d hardly call an election fair when you have someone who should have at least had an investigation into his activities as the former VP being permitted to run. Even more so when the current administration is denied the ability to investigate said individual on account of he is now a possible candidate upon which he is acting against.
It has been exhaustively proven you were wrong and that the riots were part of the conspiracy to steal the election. If you still support Trump et al, you support that effort. You are anti-American. You know this, but you try to be cute and play dumb. You are truly a fcking moron. You are an utter, gullible, garbage human being, in the throes of blatant hucksters who prey on your intentional ignorance. You rant and rave about religious nonsense while the world literallt burns. You have destroyed the United States and any hope for future generations. We’re left with your mess and all you can do is batch and whine. You are pathetic.
>It has been exhaustively proven
hahaha…No.
>that the riots were part of the conspiracy
Conspiracy by who?
>to steal the election.
And how exactly was the election going to be stolen?
>you support that effort.
The effort that is prescribed by law and legal precedent?
>You know this
No, I don’t know this- I know people like to believe in the conspiracy you are espousing and “The Big Lie” (which anybody who says that is equating themselves with NAZIs, so the Democrats should probably stop doing that). It doesn’t make it true.
>You are an utter, gullible, garbage human being, in the throes of blatant hucksters who prey on your intentional ignorance.
Oh, personal insults. The refuge of someone who knows they have no argument.
Also, what is my stance on Trump?
>You rant and rave about religious nonsense while the world literallt burns.
Quote me. I dare you.
>You have destroyed the United States
Examples?
>any hope for future generations.
Now I am really curious about the quotes and example because I think you may have painted yourself into a corner with that part.
Being asserted in spite of evidence is the exact opposite of “exhaustively proven”
Just because a bunch of idiots keep repeating it doesn’t suddenly make it true.
I find it ironic that you are literally projecting all the evils you support onto those who clearly don’t.
>As somewhat of a wordsmith myself,
Shouldn’t that be wordwright? (language joke)
>before you even read the article,
Don’t be silly. They don’t want you to read the article. Read the headline, take it a gospel, take it as fact, then use it to argue online.
I love language jokes, so thank you for that. I just feel like “wordsmith” rolls off the tongue with ease compared to the slightly more sluggish pronunciation of wordwright.
And you’re totally right, they assume most don’t read the article. And I’ve personally discovered that most people don’t. I’ll have people post comments on social media about my articles that make it clear they didn’t read it, and I just have to shake my head.
