WTF is this administration even doing, tho.
President Biden, because he’s so colossally idiotic, cannot possibly be expected to tweet on his own. You’d think that they’d find someone with half a brain to do the tweeting on his behalf. But you’d be wrong. Instead, they have someone posting sh*t like this.
Working on it Mr. President. In the meantime – have a Happy 4th and please make sure the WH intern who posted this tweet registers for Econ 101 for the fall semester… https://t.co/6yLpbDDRKc

Imagine thinking it’s a good idea to blame gas station owners for the gas prices, instead of looking inward at how damaging your own policies have been to the oil and gas industries. Good on the US Oil and Gas Association for clapping back.
Imagine telling the country during your campaign that your plan was to “transition away from the oil industry” and then thinking that WON’T HAVE AN IMPACT on the oil industry once you’re elected.
Show that to any moron who continues to insist that Joe Biden’s policies don’t impact gas prices.
So what did Biden do instead of creating a healthy environment for oil companies to drill more and produce more? He opened up the strategic petroleum reserve, which is not a solution to anything, and is only a temporary relief at BEST. But it gets even dumber. According to this, the US EXPORTED 5 million barrels of that oil to Europe and Asia last month.
Let that sink in. You’re paying upwards of $5 a gallon for gas right now. The high prices are affecting the prices of literally everything, and what does this dumbass administration do? They export our oil. And then Biden turns around and BLAMES GAS STATION OWNERS.
Even Jeff Bezos sees how dumb this is.
Ouch. Inflation is far too important a problem for the White House to keep making statements like this. It’s either straight ahead misdirection or a deep misunderstanding of basic market dynamics. https://t.co/XgKfEICZpk

By the way, the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is now at its lowest level since 1986, thanks to this godawful useless president.

Yes, I did know that our oil was being exported. I think The Blaze are the ones who reported on it. It’s criminal (figuratively) how our strategic reserve is being pissed away.
The world market price for a barrel of oil triples and he thinks gas stations can just give up the ten cents-on-the-gallon profit they receive? So the result is we could pay $4.90 instead of $5.00 per gallon? Hallelujah, what a savings. After about 50 years in Washington of telling whoppers, making gaffes, and now begging other countries and corporations for mercy, Joe shows he’s getting even dumber.
There is an independent gas station by me who has been consistently selling gas for less than all the other ones. And they just got done repaving their parking lot. So, they can’t be hurting for money. It does make one wonder if there is price gouging going on.
There is a difference between hurting and raking in profits. Paving the parking lot is likely to cost far less to them than any lawsuits that might involve damage to a vehicle or just the possibility of lost revenue due to customers not entering the store to purchase items where the more significant profit margins are. And if the price difference is just a cent on the gallon you can likely make gains simply by volume sold.
I’ll bet $20 (to charity) that gas isn’t all they sell. Gas has an extremely low profit margin, it is why everything inside is jacked up in price.
