Breaking and historic news, y’all.
The Supreme Court has overturned Roe v Wade, “giving individual states the power to allow, limit, or ban” abortion. This turns it over to the states. Where it should be, frankly.
The ruling came in the court’s opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which centered on a Mississippi law that banned abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy. The Republican-led state of Mississippi asked the Supreme Court to strike down a lower court ruling that stopped the 15-week abortion ban from taking place.
“We end this opinion where we began. Abortion presents a profound moral question. The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion. Roe and Casey arrogated that authority. We now overrule those decisions and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the court’s opinion.
Of course, we all know this comes after a much-publicized leak and the craziness that came out of that – including an assassination attempt on Justice Kavanaugh (which didn’t get NEARLY the news coverage it should’ve). This is such a win for life – one for the moral fabric of our country. I’m personally overjoyed by it – it’s a win for our culture.
And this is just the beginning – there will be SO much more to this story, but today is a unbelievably monumental day.
(Let the summer of rage begin.)

Yea, the stories are back! I haven’t been able to see anything from Friday on all weekend. Now if I could only remember what I was going to write when this first went up. Just pretend it was profound.
Yes! Every human has a right to life even the youngest defenseless ones that can’t count on their mothers to protect them!
I’m gonna bet a few people wearing pink hats miss the part where it says “…and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives.” But I sincerely hope this causes more thoughtful, careful decisions within doctors’ offices between mothers and doctors.
I’m staying off social media for a while because I know the nuclear fallout from the left is going to rival Terminator 2 levels of destruction.
Happy Dance time!
Roe is no mo’, PRAISE GOD!
