That’s right, folks. MSNBC is of the opinion that far right extremists have radicalized at-home fitness during the pandemic, and thus dedication to physical fitness is now tantamount to white supremacy and far-right extremism. They literally used a picture of Nazis saluting Hitler as their main photo for the article.
“It appears the far right has taken advantage of pandemic at-home fitness trends to expand its decade-plus radicalization of physical mixed martial arts (MMA) and combat sports spaces.”
Apparently, people are being tricked into far-right extremism by being “lured with health tips and strategies for positive physical changes,” and then being recruited into closed chat groups and radicalized by “a network of online fascist fitness chat groups” that share “Neo-Nazi and white supremacist extremist ideologies.”
“Groups on the encrypted platform Telegram are recruiting and radicalizing young men with neo-Nazi and white supremacist extremist ideologies.”
MSNBC further explains to an increasingly obese America that physical fitness actually has deep Nazi roots because Hitler liked boxing and jujitsu and wanted his soldiers to have an “aggressive spirit and impeccably trained bodies.”
According to the leftist media outlet, physical fitness and far-right white supremacist extremism share an “obsession with the male body, training, masculinity, testosterone, strength and competition.” Poor iron-pumping narcissistic Andrew Cuomo is gonna freak when he hears this.
I mean, wow. Think about the implications of this narrative.
If ever you wanted to create a soft, beta-male society full of low testosterone and gender fluid men, this would be the way to do it. Convince an entire population of racially hypersensitive young adults in a racially hypersensitive society that dedication to physical fitness is actually racist, so they not only don’t need to be dedicated to fitness, but avoiding it altogether actually makes them a better person.
And if ever you wanted to create an unhealthy society that will be increasingly dependent on Big Pharma intervention and increasingly susceptible to illnesses, this would be the way to do it. Convince an entire nation, where 73.6% of the population is already overweight or obese, that physical fitness is extremist white supremacy which should be avoided at all costs.
But hey, I guess this makes a convenient excuse not to care about your health.
