At DeSantis Covid Roundtable, One Dr. Has The Balls To Make A Huge Admission About Covid Response

In a roundtable discussion titled “The Curtain Close on Covid Theater” with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Florida Surgeon General Dr. Ladapo (who was just accused in a WH presser by Jen Psaki of “peddling conspiracy theories” for his Harvard educated MD and PhD opinion on Covid vaccines for healthy children), and several physicians around the country, one doctor had the balls to say what has needed to be said for quite some time now.

Here’s the entire roundtable discussion if you’re interested in hearing valid scientific and medical discussion that the White House entirely dismisses as “conspiracy theories.”

In case you are unaware, as so many are, the Great Barrington Declaration was authored and signed on October 4th, 2020, by Dr. Martin Kulldorff, “professor of medicine at Harvard University, a biostatistician, and epidemiologist with expertise in detecting and monitoring infectious disease outbreaks and vaccine safety evaluations,” Dr. Sunetra Gupta, “professor at Oxford University, an epidemiologist with expertise in immunology, vaccine development, and mathematical modeling of infectious diseases,” and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, “professor at Stanford University Medical School, a physician, epidemiologist, health economist, and public health policy expert focusing on infectious diseases and vulnerable populations.”

The declaration was subsequently signed by 46,893 medical practitioners and 15,840 medical and public health scientists, officially voicing their well-informed and professional concerns about the potentially damaging mainstream leftist Covid response.

The introduction states,

“As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection.”

The medical practitioners and scientists come from numerous political parties and countries around the world and felt it was their duty to protect people by speaking out against harmful practices.

“Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health. The results (to name a few) include lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings and deteriorating mental health – leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden. Keeping students out of school is a grave injustice. Keeping these measures in place until a vaccine is available will cause irreparable damage, with the underprivileged disproportionately harmed.”

Particularly noteworthy are their completely scientific and logical statements about age-related risk statistics and immunity.

“Our understanding of the virus is growing. We know that vulnerability to death from COVID-19 is more than a thousand-fold higher in the old and infirm than the young. Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza. As immunity builds in the population, the risk of infection to all – including the vulnerable – falls… Our goal should therefore be to minimize mortality and social harm until we reach herd immunity. The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity, is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk…

Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume. People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity.”

This makes absolutely perfect sense, and is, of course, absolutely not the common sense, scientific, statistics-based approach that was taken by officials here in the U.S.

And as we come out of two years of a living hell that was shaped by the political science every step of the way, it becomes increasingly apparent that the authors of The Declaration were entirely correct regarding their concerns and suggestions.

Dr. Fauci, Dr. Walensky, Dr. Wen, and so many other hyper-partisan medical and scientific professionals, who forced the exact opposite of the tenets in The Declaration and did untold damage to the nation, now routinely gaslight the public by pretending they have done every single thing right, while simply ignoring all the times they’ve been proven to be entirely wrong and damaging. I doubt they’d dare to admit that they were wrong. It’s just easier to pretend like they were right all along and you just forgot what they were right about, and pretend like they aren’t doing olympic gold medal quality flip flopping and m mental gymnastics.

But Dr. Joseph Fraiman had the balls to own up to his mistake and admit that he was wrong. Unfortunately, it’s still too little too late as far as the Covid response, as severe and entirely avoidable damage has been done to almost every facet of American life, economy, society, culture, and politics, but at least this frank admission means Dr. Fraiman might have a chance of being trusted again in the future.

But Fauci, Walensky, Wen, and all the other lying, gaslighting, hyper-partisan medical and scientific professionals should be hung out to dry and never taken seriously by anyone ever again.
