Afghan Refugees Accused of Horrifying Crimes — Federal Charges Filed For Allegedly Attempting to Rape a Minor, Suffocate a Woman

What is considered to be “culture” in Afghanistan is illegal here in the United States. I’m not even positive these men understand they did anything wrong.

Two Afghan refugees are facing federal charges in relation to their alleged attempt to strangle a woman and rape a child, following President Joe Biden’s chaotic method of pulling US troops out of Afghanistan.

The Daily Wire reported:

“Bahrullah Noori, 20, is charged with attempting to engage in a sexual act with a minor using force against that person, and with three counts of engaging in a sexual act with a minor, with one count alleging the use of force,” the Department of Justice said in a statement.

“The indictment alleges that that the victims had not attained the age of 16 years and were at least four years younger than the defendant.”

“Mohammad Haroon Imaad, 32, is charged with assaulting his spouse by strangling and suffocating her,” the statement continued. “The indictment alleges that the assault occurred on September 7, 2021.”

While the Biden Administration has announced their efforts for vetting Afghan refugees that are brought into the US, the efficacy of these efforts are under fire by other outlets and the general populace.

The New York Times even noted:

Refugees pushed their way onto airplanes. Hundreds of children were separated from their parents. Rogue flights landed without manifests. Security vetting of refugees was done in hours or days, rather than months or years. …

You can’t equate a vetting process in one country, that has vastly differing cultural beliefs, with another country that operates in opposition to what is condoned in the former.

For example, having forcible sex with minors is condoned within the cultural realm of Afghanistan, whereas it is a felony here in the States.

Therefore, the “vetting” can really only pertain to if the refugees in question have ever been documented as international terrorists before.

I personally think the vetting process is of no service, especially if it’s going to lead to our federal government suggesting that pedophiles are just guilty of cultural appropriation.
