NYC School Issues Inclusive Language Guide, Encourages People Not To Say Mom and Dad

Some folks have gone and lost their minds. This would include those in charge of Grace Church School in New York

They have instituted a policy that encourages throwing out everyday language and terms in order to be more “inclusive” to all people. By that, they mean they want to be inclusive to snowflakes and those outside the norm, but not people who are in the norm.

Click here to see the entire guide of words and phrases they want people to use and not use. The level of PC batcrappery in the guide is truly stunning. Conservatives, or for that matter, sane people of any political persuasion, have no place in this school.

Here are some of the highlights, or I guess I should say lowlights, from the guide. Instead of saying Mom and Dad, say grown-ups, folks, or guardians. Rather than saying someone is adopted, say was adopted.

The guide also indicates all of the following are outdated terms to be avoided:

-homosexual

-cross dresser

-traditional family

-colorblind

-Caucasian

-special needs

-hermaphrodite

-sexual preference

I CANNOT KEEP UP with these daily changes of what is okay to say and what is forbidden. What was kosher five minutes ago might get me burned at the stake now.

A Manhattan private school aiming to use more “inclusive language” is encouraging its students to stop using the terms “mom,” “dad” and “parents” because the words make “assumptions” about kids’ home lives.

The Grace Church School in Noho — which offers academic courses for junior kindergarten through 12th grade — issued a12-page guide to students and staff explaining the school’s mission of inclusivity.

The detailed guide recommends using the terms “grown-ups,” “folks,” “family” or “guardians” as alternatives to “mom,” “dad” and “parents.” It also suggests using “caregiver” instead of “nanny/babysitter.”

“Families are formed and structured in many ways. At Grace Church School, we use inclusive language that reflects this diversity. It’s important to refrain from making assumptions about who kids live with, who cares for them, whether they sleep in the same place every night, whether they see their parents, etc.,” the guide reads.

The document also states how to use appropriate terms relating to gender, sexual orientation, race and ethnicity.

Instead of asking a person, “What are you? Where are you from?,” the query should be, “What is your cultural/ethnic background? Where are your ancestors/is your family from?,” according to Grace’s guide.

This school ascribes to a religion, but it certainly isn’t traditional Christianity. They practice the religion of leftism and wokeness. This is evident from their website and Message From The Head of the School. You are greeted by a photo featuring George Floyd. The whole website outlines their allegiance to social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

If you want to raise a mindless, intolerant, leftist robot, Grace Church School would be an excellent choice.
