The Washington Post published a most interesting article.
The article is titled, “After 50 days as president, Biden still hasn’t given a news conference. Critics and allies wonder why.”
The reason this article is so interesting is because it’s completely misrepresentative of reality.
No one is wondering why.
Critics and allies alike know exactly why Biden hasn’t given a press conference.
Everyone does.
Recently we watched as President Biden, who never takes questions, offered to answer a few press questions after a virtual meeting with Democrat lawmakers. But as soon as he offered, he realized he hadn’t received permission from whoever it is that gives him permission to do things, so he asked for permission. Rather than granting permission for the President of the United States to take questions from the press, his White House handlers simply cut his video feed entirely. This is a glaring example of how little Biden’s own handlers trust his cognitive capabilities.
Did you watch him just days ago trying to explain the Covid relief bill?
This is so embarrassing. I know Vice President Hoover is the absolute worst, but I’d seriously rather have her as president. At least she can form sentences.

The American mainstream news media (with the exception of conservative outlets) either isn’t allowed to talk about Biden’s obvious cognitive decline, or they would just rather not mention it.
But other countries can and do.
Way back in March of 2020, it was already obvious to anyone who wasn’t blind with hatred for President Trump. Here’s Australia’s Sky News saying what the American news media refuses to say.
“No matter how hard the democrats and their allies in the media try, Biden’s cognitive issues can no longer be ignored or blamed on some right wing conspiracy.”
In November 2020, while Americans were being banned from social media platforms in order to be kept quiet on the subject, Sky News lamented Joe Biden’s election.
“Oh, for God’s sake. Are we seriously saying this bloke is to be President of the United States? If he had any modesty about him he should never have accepted the nomination. It is a profound embarrassment.”
Then in February, after Biden’s first month as President, Sky News once again said what American news media refuses to say.
“Never before has the leader of the free world been so cognitively compromised.”
Just days ago, Sky News highlighted Biden’s obvious inability to take questions or address the public. Something the American mainstream media apparently refuses to even acknowledge.
The man is routinely confused.
He forgets things, people, and places.
He routinely mixes up facts and figures which often turn into outrageous and easily debunked claims.
He forgets what he’s supposed to do and has to ask his staff for direction and instruction about where to go and what to do next.
He wanders and looks around confused as though he is unsure what he’s doing or where he’s going.
He forgets what he’s said in the past and often accuses people of lying about what he said, or flatly denies saying things that he is clearly on record as having said.
He forgets what he has and hasn’t done in the past, sometimes claiming to have done things that never happened or couldn’t have happened.
He mutters unintelligible nonsense.
He is quickly angered when he gets confused or is confronted with difficult questions.
He is visibly exhausted and requires significant breaks and downtime, as was evident in his campaign schedule and the number of days when they called a lid first thing in the morning.
His staff has to script questions ahead of time and create highly structured and controlled environments every time he speaks publicly.
As often happens when a person is in cognitive decline, he is not entirely in control of what he says. He often says inappropriate, racist, or simply bizarre things that make people question his fitness for office. His staff and fellow politicians simply cannot trust that he won’t accidentally say something very damaging, and they can’t take that kind of risk.
For crying out loud, Washington Post. No one is “wondering why” Biden hasn’t held a formal press conference yet. Everyone knows it’s because of his cognitive decline. Everyone knows it’s because he is unpredictable and can’t be trusted to say the right thing. Everyone knows it’s because he is usually confused and forgetful. It is glaringly evident.
But the Washington Post very carefully refuses to acknowledge it, and even pretends that it is a mystery to “critics and allies” alike.
If they won’t even report honestly on something as obvious and evident as that, what else do you think they avoid?
