As if we weren’t already aware of the fact that the public school system has failed our children for generations, leave it to the Coronavirus BS to really bring it to full throttle.
The lack of quality within the usual curriculum, otherwise known as liberal indoctrination asphyxiated in teacher’s cries for lack of funding, has reached an all time low as children have been forced to stare at screens every day, isolated from socialization, unable to retain the information that is entirely devoid of engagement… for what?
Tucker Carlson with Fox News stated:
The experts were wrong. They had no idea what they were doing. But the most amazing part is that they knew they were wrong when they did it, but they kept lying about it, even as American children began to kill themselves.
On Sunday, New York City officials all but admitted this when they announced the reopening of elementary schools fewer than two weeks after they were closed.
From a medical standpoint, nothing has changed. New York didn’t get an early shipment of the Pfizer vaccine. There wasn’t some groundbreaking new research paper that revolutionized our understanding of the coronavirus. Parents had simply had enough and they forced Mayor Bill de Blasio to admit the obvious: This virus is not a threat to children.
It’s quite interesting when you come to the realization that these so-called experts are failing at disclosing the very expertise we have been relying on them for.
This past Sunday, Dr. Anthony Fauci finally openly admitted:
Close the bars and keep the schools open, is what we really say. Obviously, you don’t have one size fits all. But as I said in the past … the default position should be to try as best as possible, within reason, to keep the children in school or to get them back to school. If you look at the data, the spread among children and from children is not really very big at all, not like one would have suspected.
Analyzing the COVID-19 data from every available study, it becomes overwhelmingly obvious that the effects of the coronavirus on children is not serious enough to merit the negative mental and emotional effects that school shutdowns have caused.
Tucker Carlson added:
In April, a study by the Journal of the American Medical Association found that school-aged children who get the coronavirus “develop only mild symptoms and typically recover within two weeks.” In June, a study in The Lancet affirmed this, finding “COVID-19 is generally a mild disease in children, including in infants.” Other studies found the exact same thing.
If you’re looking for more evidence, check the death rates. In New Jersey, one of the hardest-hit states, not a single school-aged child has died from the coronavirus. Many children have died from car accidents and fires and drug overdoses and suicide. None have died from COVID-19. In California, home to 40 million people, a total of two people under the age of 18 have died from the coronavirus. According to the latest numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), 123 Americans under the age of 18 have died from the coronavirus. That’s 123 people out of a population of 328 million.
While the Democrats are shrieking that physical presence in schools is a much bigger risk to the physical health of children, they continue to neglect the consequences of mental health, the plummeting grades, and the decrease in emotional well-being.
Yet the same armchair quarterbacks continue to make monumental decisions about lock downs, devoid of factual data analysis. How blissful.
