Joe Biden had himself a little town hall on CNN last night. Did you watch? I was mildly torn between that and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. In the end, I decided not to torture myself and chose the laughs of Mrs. Maisel.
But this morning, I see that Biden basically claimed that President Trump is responsible for every single death in the United States from COVID-19. Apparently, presidents can now stop all death, for all time. Maybe if Biden becomes president, he will sign legislation making the virus illegal. Or, maybe he will wave his magic wand and the virus will cease to exist.

Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden claimed without evidence on Thursday night that President Donald Trump was responsible for every single person who has died from the coronavirus, which originated in China.
“If the president had done his job, had done his job from the beginning, all the people would still be alive. All the people—I’m not making this up. Just look at the data. Look at the data,” Biden stated.
One study suggested that a large number of people may not have died if certain measures had been implemented weeks earlier, but the study in no way stated that earlier action would have saved “all the people.” It’s worth noting that Biden held eight rallies in March while Trump only held one.
This is such a crazy claim. Remember when Trump was raked over the coals by Democrats for banning travel from China in late January?
Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden led the way, quickly attacking what he called Trump’s “record of hysteria, xenophobia and fear-mongering” after the travel restrictions were announced, and arguing that Trump “is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency.” Biden, on Wednesday, didn’t criticize the travel ban in any way, and instead accused Trump of “downplaying” the virus early on in remarks to Fox News.
“I had Biden calling me xenophobic,” Trump told Fox News’ “Hannity” on March 26. “He called me a racist, because of the fact that he felt it was a racist thing to stop people from China coming in.”
There was another doozy that came out of this town hall. CNN and Biden, of course, had to virtue signal how they would be following social distancing guidelines. Their hypocrisy on the issue was exposed during a commercial break.

Overall, it sounds like the CNN event featured a bunch of softball questions. You can be sure the debate will not be so easy for Biden. President Trump will not allow it. Even if the debate moderators are in the tank for Biden, Trump will fight.
I CANNOT WAIT for September 29th!!!
