Sometimes we need a little reminder that people out there are looking out for each other. Here’s one for you now.
Charlotte Morrison was in the process of renovating her London home when she found a message beneath the wallpaper she was removing.

“If you ever need to wallpaper this room again, it will take 8 rolls of wallpaper. I bought just six rolls at £17.00 per roll 5/12/97 & didn’t have enough. (It really pissed me off)
Jon. 21/12/97.”
There’s a guy looking out for his fellow man. That’s a damn hero, is what that is.
Morrison’s post immediately took off, being shared over 14,000 times on Facebook alone. It was spread far enough, in fact, that one of Jon’s family members stumbled across it and passed on the gratitude to Jon himself. Jon, who “hates social media,” has not commented– but then again, he doesn’t need to. He’s already said his piece. There’s nothing more to say, except me taking the liberty of borrowing Morrison’s words:
Cheers, Jon.
