This is just out of control.
Candace Owens and her husband were stopped at a Whole Foods for not wearing masks, y’all. Here she is telling the story.
Police enforcement @wholefoods? #coronavirus is spiraling into tyranny. https://t.co/EXA56c7ynJ

And her tweets prior to the video:
WOW. Just had a police officer called over to me and my husband at Whole Foods bc we were not wearing masks. We come to this @WholeFoods EVERY DAY. Apparently beginning yesterday, it is now illegal to come in without a mask.
Total deaths in D.C from Covid? 69.WTF if going on?

So we weren’t required to wear masks to keep them safe when HUNDREDS were dying from the flu (majority young)—but we are now required to wear them bc 69 people died from Covid (majority elderly).
IT MAKES NO SENSE—like working for CNN & thinking anyone gives a damn what you think https://t.co/RjSi6qYTT6— Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) April 14, 2020
It’s time to let the tin-foil hats stay home while the rest of us get back to work.
They can order their groceries and toilet paper to their homes as they continue to wait for the #coronapocalypse.
Freedom means they are free to stay, we are free to go.

Listen – say what you want about the efficacy of masks. I tend to believe (even though WHO and the CDC seem to change their position about this like every four minutes) that masks are generally a good idea if you’re not feeling well and are afraid you might cough or sneeze on someone. Or, perhaps you’re asymptomatic but would like to wear a mask JUST IN CASE you’re a Covid carrier and plan to be in close proximity to someone. Masks made out of bandanas and t-shirts are not gonna really protect you from GETTING Covid, but I have no problem with people wearing them. I do have a problem with POLICE STOPPING YOU FOR NOT WEARING ONE. That’s just insanity, especially since so many of the restrictions and rules put in place by mayors and governors around the country are so nonsensical and arbitrary.
Am I practicing social distancing? Yes. Am I choosing to wear a mask if I go to a grocery store? Yes. But those are choices. Choices that a free American should be able to make.
