Last month we told you that a woman named Tara Reade had accused Joe Biden of sexually assaulting her back in 1993 when she was his staff assistant. The allegation is graphic and disturbing.
Of course, the mainstream media has either ignored the allegation or said it’s not credible.
Alyssa Milano, that tireless crusader for #believeallwomen (ha!), waited several days then put out a statement on why she still supports Joe Biden and doesn’t believe Tara Reade.
Remember, this is the woman who sat in the back of Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court Senate confirmation hearings and claimed the allegations against him were totally credible and totally disqualifying.
Now the New York Times is running cover for Biden. The NYT published an article titled “Examining Tara Reade’s Sexual Assault Allegations Against Joe Biden.” The article – despite noting that Reade is just one of EIGHT women who have come forward saying Biden touched them in ways that made them uncomfortable – found “no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden.”
But wait, there’s more!
The article’s original conclusion looked like this:

Let me repeat that:
The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden, beyond the hugs, kisses and touching that women previously said made them uncomfortable.
So basically, the NYT found no misconduct other than the misconduct we’ve all been talking about for literally years. I guess that makes the misconduct okay in the minds of the Times?
The Times has updated the article, removing the reference to Biden’s inappropriate behavior:

This is what passes for journalism today.
Look, I don’t know whether the allegations against Biden are true or not. It’s just infuriating (though unsurprising) that the same outlets that breathlessly report on even the most spurious allegations against Trump, against Kavanaugh, against anyone with an R next to their name, refuse to even consider allegations against their own.
Breitbart concludes:
Shortly after the Times began drawing criticism for its language, the outlet edited the story, removing mention of unwanted “hugs, kisses, and touching” when determining that there was “no pattern of sexual misconduct.”
“No other allegation about sexual assault surfaced in the course of reporting, nor did any former Biden staff members corroborate any details of Ms. Reade’s allegation. The Times found no pattern of sexual misconduct by Mr. Biden,” the article now reads, without any acknowledgment of the update.
