March 11, 2020House Majority Whip Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) knows Joe Biden can’t hack it.
Yesterday, Clyburn called for the remainder of the primaries and debates to be cancelled if Joe crushed it in Tuesday’s primaries. And Joe had resounding victories in state after state last night.
Clyburn told NPR, “I think when the night is over, Joe Biden will be the prohibitive favorite to win the Democratic nomination, and quite frankly, if the night ends the way it has begun, I think it is time for us to shut this primary down, it is time for us to cancel the rest of these debates — because you don’t do anything but get yourself in trouble if you continue in this contest when it’s obvious that the numbers will not shake out for you.”
Clyburn later added that as the process continues to drag on that Biden will get “himself into trouble” and will say something that he “cannot overcome.”

This is unreal. That’s not exactly a vote of confidence in Joe from Clyburn. The fact that Clyburn is so scared Biden will get himself into trouble is a clear signal that, shockingly, Bernie Sanders actually would have been the better choice between the two.
The Democrats are terrified of having old Joe out in public. They know he will struggle, cognitively, to debate Bernie.
WHAT IS THEIR PLAN FOR TRUMP? Seriously, this man, who is losing his temper on the campaign trail and forgetting things left and right, cannot seriously be expected to stand toe to toe with Trump in a debate.
Don’t expect to see much of Joe Biden on the campaign trail. He will be hidden away for much of the time.
And coronavirus will give him perfect cover for scaling back gatherings and campaign events.
