It’s a shame things are too partisan nowadays for us all to come together and appreciate the sheer level of ridiculous hilarity Donald Trump’s Twitter brings to our daily lives. I mean, sure, it’s not presidential, but you can’t tell me that sh*t ain’t funny.
Case in point: President Trump’s tweet congratulating Bernie Sanders on his big win in Nevada.

I mean, it’s masterful how much shade he can pack into 280 characters. We’ve got “Crazy Bernie” and “Mini Mike,” solid classics, and I actually suspect that he cut Elizabeth Warren deepest by not even mentioning her by name (or even Pocahontas) and lumping her in with “the rest.” And then, after a classic hyperbolic Trump insult (“the worst ever in the history of ever”) to end on a note of. . . hope?
I mean, it’s a delicious little double entendre, that “don’t let them take it away from you,” but it’s still kinda sweet. I mean, Trump is giving Bernie kudos for his success and encouraging him to own it. Just because the wording also conjures up his 2016 failure at the hands of the decidedly un-democratic DNC doesn’t take away from the sincerity.
Or maybe it does. I don’t know. I’m going to quit my job and analyze Trump’s tweets full time. Just call me CNN.
