The DNC Just Completely Screwed Over Bernie Sanders AND I AM HERE FOR IT.

This is just too delicious for words. 

It goes without saying that although Bernie Sanders seems to inexplicably be the Dem front runner (even though he’s an old white guy), establishment Democrats are worried about him being the nominee.  This is 2016 all over again, really.  They DO NOT WANT Bernie the old commie to be their guy, and interestingly it’s for the exact same reason that I really WANT Bernie to be their guy.  He’s absolutely batsh*t, and I don’t think he can compete with Trump on a debate stage.  I don’t think he can compete at the ballot box, because like it or not, people are going to be more concerned about their personal wealth being completely wiped out the second Bernie becomes president (God forbid) than they are – say – climate change.  I just don’t see people Actually Voting for him – at least in numbers high enough for him to win.

So the DNC wants a more moderate candidate.  They wanted Biden, of course, but Biden is proving to be a massive liability.

Enter Michael Bloomberg, and his zillions and zillions of dollars.

Bloomberg hasn’t even bothered trying to compete in the early primary states, because he has zillions and zillions of dollars and is just buying his way into the race.  So far, he’s been rather effective considering he polls higher than many of the other candidates who’ve been pounding pavement for months.

So what does the DNC do? All of a sudden? They just changed the rules for the debates after New Hampshire’s primary.

They’ve doubled the polling threshold and ELIMINATED the individual donor requirement.

So you gotta ask yourself – who does that help and who does that hurt?  And the answer is Michael Bloomberg and Bernie Sanders, respectively.

And you also have to look at how CLEARLY RIGGED they’re making this – because at this stage of the game, the DNC should be making it MORE AND MORE difficult to make the debate stage so they can finally narrow down the field, instead of opening it up wider.  This is literally the opposite of what makes sense.

But they’re good at spin:

“Now that the grassroots support is actually captured in real voting, the criteria will no longer require a donor threshold,” said Adrienne Watson, a DNC spokeswoman. “The donor threshold was appropriate for the opening stages of the race, when candidates were building their organizations, and there were no metrics available outside of polling to distinguish those making progress from those who weren’t.”

Mmm hmm.  Sure, Jan.

Bloomberg’s team, naturally, is delighted:

“We are thrilled that voters could soon have the chance to see Mike Bloomberg on the debate stage, hear his vision for the country and see why he is the strongest candidate to defeat Donald Trump and bring our country together,” Bloomberg’s campaign manager Kevin Sheekey said.

And Sanders’ folks?  Yeah.  Different story.

“To now change the rules in the middle of the game to accommodate Mike Bloomberg, who is trying to buy his way into the Democratic nomination, is wrong,” Jeff Weaver, a senior adviser to Sanders, told POLITICO as the rules were being announced.

I don’t know about y’all, but I AM LOVING EVERY SECOND OF THIS DAY.  No witnesses for this sham impeachment trial, a final vote this coming Wednesday, Trump’s SOTU coming Tuesday, Bernie getting screwed by his own party, and Kamala getting scolded by Chuck Schumer?
