AOC Is Mad At ‘The Right’ For Calling Her Out On Being Completely Wrong …Again

A sure sign of wisdom is knowing you don’t know everything, and being able to accept when you’ve made a mistake.

No one with a brain of their own would EVER call Alexandria Ocasio Cortez “wise.”

This woman makes mistakes CONSTANTLY – but she never holds herself accountable for any of them. Instead, she backpedals what she originally said, digs her heels in about being right in the first place, and blames others for calling her out. (Usually do to their misogyny or racism. Not ever because she was wrong.)

AOC is fighting for DC statehood because, according to her, “DC was the 1st territory in the United States to free the enslaved.”

DC was the 1st territory in the United States to free the enslaved.

It’s where Black Americans fled the tyranny of slavery & towards greater freedom, to DC. Yet today it’s where 2nd class citizenship reigns, and the right to vote is denied.

This is factually incorrect.

Boy, that tweet is dumb. D.C. had slavery legal right up to 1862, when it was declared illegal by Abraham Lincoln. Mutiple states and prior territories (later states) were free long before D.C.

She also sorta argued against herself. In her first post she said it was the first territory in the US to free slaves. In her 2nd post she “clarifies” to say it was the first time the US govt (meaning the Federal govt) freed slaves….It is not really a clarification so much
