Bret Baier And Martha MacCallum Get Bernie To Admit That He Doesn’t Know How To Pay For His Medicare For All Plan

Bernie Sanders recently participated in a town hall-style event with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum and Bret Bair. It was all kinds of awkward. For starters, MacCallum asked Bernie why he doesn’t set an example by willingly giving half of his income to the government. After all, he’s a bloody millionaire.

“You can volunteer too…why don’t you give?” Sanders asked MacCallum. “You make more money than I do.”

So what? She’s not the one running for POTUS and screaming about how the rich need to pay their “fair share.”

He also randomly rambled about the Koch brothers, because of course.

“I didn’t suggest a wealth tax,” MacCallum said.

“And she’s not running for POTUS,” Baier added.

MacCallum: “So would you be willing to pay 52% on the money that you made? You can volunteer, you can send it back”

Bernie: “You can volunteer too…why don’t you give? You make more money than I do”

M: “I didn’t suggest a wealth tax”

Wait. There’s more. MacCallum and Baier got Bernie to admit that his “Medicare for All” plan isn’t “free” after all.
