It was something else. For starters, AOC decided to low key complain about how she still lives in an unfurnished apartment. You see, she’s totally on the struggle bus, just like you! She’s living a totally “depraved lifestyle.”

Her words.

“My apartment is like unfurnished,” she said. “I’ve been living like a completely depraved lifestyle.”

“I’ve been sleeping on a mattress on the floor,” she continued.

“I got sworn in January 3, today it’s April-something and I still don’t own a chair,” she added.

Please ignore the fact that she decided to rent a luxury apartment in DC’s Navy Yard neighborhood. Dinky studio apartments in her building start around $2,000 a month.

I’d also like to point out that AOC reminded everyone that we only have 12 years to cut emissions by 50%, or else. During that spiel, she compared her climate change fearmongering brigade to the civil rights movement.

“You look back and you open history books on the Civil Rights movement, and you see those folks who are protesting against the ability for African Americans and black Americans to have the right to vote,” she said.

“Just know, that in the present day, there are a lot of people who hide the fact that their families and that their grandparents fought against principles of equal rights in the United States,” she continued, adding, “People who are trying to mock and delay this moment, I mean, I just feel bad for you. I just pity you for your role in history right now.”

Also, she’s convinced the GOP talks about her because she’s so big and bad and confronts them directly. She believes she causes us to “act like the girl in The Exorcist that’s like vomiting pea soup.”

She’ll never get it. We’re not scared. She’s helping us.
