A bunch of airlines (and whole nations, for that matter) are suspending the use of new Boeing 737 MAX 8s. Two of those models have crashed in the last few months. The first crashed off the coast of Indonesia, killing 189. The last crashed a few days ago en route to Nairobi. 157 people died.
The FAA hasn’t officially grounded them (as of the writing of this post), but it’s certainly facing an immense amount of pressure. Perhaps it will change.
Fmr. NTSB Managing Director @PeterGoelz says the “pressure has built to an almost unbearable level for the Department of Transportation and the FAA” to ground Boeing 737 MAX 8 jets.

Trump has weighed in.
That’s one way of putting it I guess…? HAHA. I don’t even know. I’m with him there. I don’t want a very stable genius flying my plane if he doesn’t know how…to….fly it? Um. Yeah.
