Patrick Moore, AKA one of the founders of Greenpeace, appeared on Fox News this morning and expressed his annoyance with AOC’s ridiculous antics. He actually called her a “pompous little twit,” and I’m OBVIOUSLY here for it.
“It’s a silly plan,” he said of the Green New Deal. “That’s why I suggested she was a pompous little twit. Twit meaning silly in the British lexicon and pompous meaning arrogant.”
Be offended all you want, but that particular description is more than accurate.
“She really rubbed me the wrong way when she said she is the boss, because she can make up a proposal that’s completely ridiculous,” Moore said.
“There is no climate crisis,” he continued. “There is weather and climate all around the world, and in fact, carbon dioxide is the main building block of all life.”
Like I always say, we’re not denying that the climate changes. We’re questioning the purpose and effectiveness of “Meatless Mondays.”
There’s nothing to fix. This is how the world works.
“Climate change is a perfectly natural phenomenon, and this modern warm period actually began 300 years ago when the Little Ice Age began to come to an end,” Moore explained.
YOU DON’T SAY.
“There is nothing to be afraid of, and that’s all they’re doing is instilling fear,” he said.
Bingo. Think about that group of kids who begged Dianne Feinstein to sign on to the Green New Deal.
This is how @SenFeinstein reacted to children asking her to support the #GreenNewDeal resolution — with smugness + disrespect.
This is a fight for our generation’s survival. Her reaction is why young people desperately want new leadership in Congress. pic.twitter.com/0zAkaxruMI

That’s what liberals are doing to our children.
Moore also dismissed the warnings from his former group and others like Ocasio-Cortez, who said the climate will become inhospitable to human life in about 12 years. “Most of the scientists who are saying it’s a crisis are on perpetual government grants,” he said.
“On one hand, they say the science is settled and people like myself should just shut up because they know what’s right,” Moore added. “On the other hand, they seem to keep studying forever as if there’s something new to find out. And those two things are completely contradictory.”
He said Greenpeace was a science-based organization when he started it, but then it was taken over by the Left.
“We were hijacked by the extreme left, who basically took Greenpeace from a science-based organization, to an organization based on sensationalism, misinformation and fear,” he said.
Danggggggg. That’s the truth bomb of the century.
If all of that didn’t trigger the left enough, Trump tweeted one of Moore’s quotes.
Icing on the cake.
