AWESOME: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis To Eliminate Common Core

Dang, man. I’m so happy Gillum didn’t win, because this definitely wouldn’t be happening!

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis just announced his plans to eliminate Common Core.

While Common Core was officially dropped by Florida and replaced by Florida Standards Testing, DeSantis said the state only rebranded the program.

He made the announcement at a South Florida high school in Cape Coral.

“This is going to be a process that is going to take the balance of this year and we will go to the Legislature next session and want to get that done,” DeSantis said during a press conference. “We don’t want to dillydally, but at the same time, do it right.”

Heck to the yeah.

“I told you I was going to do something about this,” DeSantis said.
