President Trump put on the feast that topped all feasts last night. He personally bought a ton of fast food for the visiting Clemson football team. Picture hundreds of burgers from Wendy’s, McDonald’s and Burger King. Picture an array of dipping sauces, fries and pizza. That was their reality.
Here’s a video I shot of President Trump showing off his 300 hamburgers. pic.twitter.com/P06S6I5w07

“Because the Democrats refuse to negotiate on border security, much of the residence staff at the White House is furloughed…the President is personally paying for the event to be catered with some of everyone’s favorite fast foods,” Sarah Sanders said in a statement.

Libs have been mocking the spread like crazy, but I’m telling you right now that I would SO eat fast food by candlelight at the White House. That would be amazing and hilarious.
Even the dipping sauce presentation is top notch pic.twitter.com/S4Qaqmx3Zq

Great being with the National Champion Clemson Tigers last night at the White House. Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamberders etc. Within one hour, it was all gone. Great guys and big eaters!

HOLD UP! Yesterday Trump said he was ordering 300 hamburgers. Today he’s saying 1,000 “hamberders.” (Why is that typo so funny?) What’s the TRUTH? We must get to the bottom of this immediately!
I should note that, at one point tonight, President Trump said he bought 300 hamburgers. Later, he claimed he bought 1,000 hamburgers.

White House yesterday: Trump ordered 300 hamburgers for the Clemson Tigers.
Trump today: I ordered “over 1000 hamberders etc.”

When lying is second nature: Last night the president said there were “more than 300” hamburgers. Now it’s “over 1000.” https://t.co/vebFVxHHNq

Trump to media yesterday: "We have 300 hamburgers"
Trump to Clemson yesterday: "I go out and send for about 1,000 hamburgers"
Trump this morning: "I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamberders"— Daniel Dale (@ddale8) January 15, 2019
Thought: Maybe he was initially planning on getting 300, but then he decided it wouldn’t be enough, changed his mind and ordered 1,000? Why is everyone acting like that’s out of the realm of possibility?
Hamburger-count journalism. We live in amazing times.
