Mitt Romney is already positioning himself to be the GOP’s new Jeff Flake. He launched an unprovoked attack on President Trump in the form of smarmy op-ed for the Washington Post. GOP chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, who happens to be Mitt Romney’s niece, blasted him on Twitter.

She’s absolutely right. Why would an incoming Republican freshman senator step into the job with that attitude? It’s like he’s trying to establish himself as the the GOP’s Jiminy Cricket, even though NOBODY WANTS THAT.
