President Trump’s Tweets On The Wall Spark Massive Concerns

I’m sick of hearing about plans for the wall. Start building it already! No no– I don’t care what it looks like. I don’t care if it’s beautiful or shiny or rusty or an eyesore. I only have one requirement: It must work properly. The end.

President Trump started tweeting about the wall last night. He addressed the left’s supposed concerns about the wall being a hideous concrete sight.

The Democrats, are saying loud and clear that they do not want to build a Concrete Wall – but we are not building a Concrete Wall, we are building artistically designed steel slats, so that you can easily see through it….

….It will be beautiful and, at the same time, give our Country the security that our citizens deserve. It will go up fast and save us BILLIONS of dollars a month once completed!

He continued this morning.

In our Country, so much money has been poured down the drain, for so many years, but when it comes to Border Security and the Military, the Democrats fight to the death. We won on the Military, which is being completely rebuilt. One way or the other, we will win on the Wall!

He then shifted and promised that Mexico is indirectly paying for the wall after all, through NAFTA’s replacement, USMCA.

Mexico is paying (indirectly) for the Wall through the new USMCA, the replacement for NAFTA! Far more money coming to the U.S. Because of the tremendous dangers at the Border, including large scale criminal and drug inflow, the United States Military will build the Wall!

I get what he’s saying, but meh. This isn’t exactly what people want to hear. Build the wall, and Mexico will “indirectly” pay for it? That’s definitely not as catchy.
