Well… this is kinda awful:
Did the Grinch hack UPS’ twitter? 😠 pic.twitter.com/HN5OKZT70u
— TheBlaze (@theblaze) December 17, 2018
Whatever. Kinda mean, but I’m not necessarily getting my panties twisted over it. I think the “joke” missed the mark. There’s enough negativity out there… people aren’t really interested in jokes written by Scrooge himself this time of year.
And while I said “Huh. Dumb.” many others are very, VERY annoyed by it:
Wow, when I worked at UPS, we were like Santa’s helpers…delivering pacakages right up to Christmas Eve late evening… I guess times have changed

LOL!
Or the parent can keep it so they can remember adorable memories of when their child was young and had all the wonderment and innocence in the world.
— MICHELLE FLYNN (@Ummmmichelle) December 18, 2018
That seems like a better idea, anyway.
Looks like @TheUPSStore is just the latest on the list of organizations to put some daft tyke in charge of their social media postings. Always so good for business. Lucky for them it’s not a critical time of year for their revenue stream.

Agreed. That tweet was very definitely composed by someone with very little depth & life experience. I hope they find a more seasoned employee who has lived Life and understands the nuances of #BEingHuman.
— Celeste⚜Claverie (@CreoleRightGirl) December 18, 2018
And then there’s this:
… Because your child’s Christmas List is not nearly as important as us selling our shredding services. UPS really doesn’t value what brings others happiness, it seems. I get that it’s supposed to be a joke, but it’s very insensitive and in poor taste.
— Craig Warford (@CraigWarford) December 18, 2018
I mean… seems like an awfully small thing to get this worked up about. “Very insensitive and in poor taste?” It’s not like they’re shredding the kids, dude…
But yeah. I get it. It was a dumb joke.
SOME people really liked it, though:
I have six kids. I thought it was hilarious
— 🚓 Death By Analogy 🚛 (@DeathByAnalogy) December 18, 2018
Lol. Maybe each and every “precious moment” stops mattering SOOOO much when you have six of them?
I smirked
— Sarah (@SarahtiredofNY) December 18, 2018
I love it!
— Robert Schlie (@SoulSeekerUSA) December 18, 2018
This was funny. 🤷♀️
— Andrea Linda (@AndreaDLinda) December 18, 2018
This is actually a good joke for a corporate account
— Brendan Hornby (@wolfram5000) December 18, 2018
and then…
Imagine being this ill.
For a dollar a day, you can help TDS sufferers like Betty.

I hope someone saves Betty.
