October 29, 2018It’s been a pretty crappy few days of political news, so I figured this would help balance the sadness and suck.
POTUS and FLOTUS hosted a SPPPPPOOOOOOOOOKY Halloween party at the White House Sunday night. I didn’t even know the White House hosted that sort of thing, but hey. I’m all for it. Heck– I would TOTALLY be that person to dress up as something ridiculous and party at the White House. (JK. I know it’s for kids, OK?)
Seriously though. This sounds like it was SO FUN (for the kids yeah yeah yeah whatev).
The Trumps stood on the South Lawn between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. as children streamed by, picking up candy from the couple’s baskets.
The two stood at the center of an elaborate Halloween display involving pumpkins, an orange carpet, and a white sign that read “Halloween.” The U.S. Air Force Band played holiday-themed music, including the Harry Potter theme song, played as children dressed as pumpkins, ballerinas, Mario and more passed through.
