Attention Florida: GET IT TO-FREAKING-GETHER

I’m really concerned for my home state right now. Nah– that’s putting it too nicely. I AM RAGING.

For those who don’t know, there’s a pretty significant governor’s race going on. Florida has two options: Republican Ron DeSantis or Democrat Andrew Gillum.

A couple of things you should know about DeSantis: He’s a tried-and-true Constitutional conservative, he sticks to his principles and he’s really nice IRL. (Our regular readers know that I interned for his office when I was in college.)

A couple of things you should know about Andrew Gillum: He’s a failed socialist mayor who earned the endorsement of Crazy Bernie. He’s all for universal healthcare and a mandated $15 minimum wage. He also wants to abolish ICE and impeach Trump, so that’s neat. He wants to give away a whole lot of “free” stuff, and he’s gonna do that by increasing taxes on corporations, which sounds like sound economic policy. //intense sarc (And no it doesn’t.)  No matter what he does, the cost WILL pass on to us, the consumers.

Basic economics isn’t exactly his strong suit.

PS– he also has serious ethics issues.

I’m horrified at the thought of a complete socialist moron running my state. I THOUGHT my fellow Floridians would be with me on that one, but NO. Look at these polls. LOOK AT THEM.

I want to puke buckets.

There’s no excuse. There’s absolutely NO reason a RAGING FAILED SOCIALIST MAYOR should be ahead in the polls against DeSantis, who is a CONSTITUTIONAL CONSERVATIVE WHO ACTUALLY VALUES LIBERTY.

If you’re a Republican who’s a resident of Florida and planning on skipping out on voting, GET IT TOGETHER. You NEED to go out and vote, because we CANNOT have a flaming socialist running our state. NO. I’m begging you. Go out and vote. Vote red all the way. This is a big freaking deal.
