Roseanne’s ALL CAPS Tweet After The Premiere Of ‘The Conners’ Says It ALL

I didn’t watch the premiere of “The Conners.” I probably would have, but I was out for a late birthday dinner with my mom instead. (Easy choice, no question.) From what I’ve seen on Twitter, it was basically what people expected. I guess the episode takes place about three weeks after Roseanne’s funeral. She died of an opioid overdose.

“I just got a call from a friend in the coroner’s office. The autopsy found that it wasn’t a heart attack. Roseanne OD’d on opioids,” Jackie said.

“That’s not possible,” Dan replied. “We knew she had a problem. She was only on pain pills for two days after surgery. And then it was just ibuprofen. It’s got to be wrong.”

“Well, I wish it was but they think she must’ve taken the pills right before bed, and with her health issues was enough to stop her breathing,” Jackie said.

Well, #TheConners was a shit show. I'm just appalled. I have loved Roseanne since I was a kid & fuck @ABCNetwork for handling it in this manner. Shame on the entire cast except John Goodman, bc well..who doesn't love him? I hope the series bombs.
