Sen. Susan Collin’s finished her EPIC speech declaring she WOULD support Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination by throwing a jab at Michael Avenatti.
Collins on gang-rape accusation: “Outlandish … a stark reminder of why the presumption of innocence is so ingrained in our American consciousness.”

Avenatti has found a new target of his toddler-like tantrum RAGE.
.@SenatorCollins is channeling Donald Trump. Entirely disingenuous and shameful. Where was she when Judge Garland could not even get an up or down vote? This is all about her post-office job opportunities on K street. We shall never forget. Not in Nov. Not in 2020. Not ever.
— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) October 5, 2018
.@SenatorCollins should be ashamed of herself for attacking my client and Dr. Ford. How did she make a credibility determination as to my client? How is she qualified to do that without ANY investigation? She did ZERO to determine whether my client and her witnesses were credible
— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) October 5, 2018
.@SenatorCollins does not have the judgment to be a US Senator. She never met my client, never had her interviewed, never met the 6 witnesses supporting her declaration or had them interviewed, and never cross examined my client. And yet she made a credibility determination. How?
— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) October 5, 2018
.@SenatorCollins did not attack me, she attacked my client. A woman who came forward as a sexual assault victim. And she attacked Julie and “shamed her” without any facts and no investigation. This was a disgrace and a gut punch aimed at survivors everywhere.

He’s still going today…
Honored to have spoken to the Hamilton County Ohio Democratic Party. Very enthusiastic crowd on a tough night for Dems. Great support for the future. Best part: nobody believes the Collins/GOP attacks. Onward and upward. https://t.co/1s9qk6XGqt
— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) October 6, 2018
People that are attacking Ms. Ramirez and Ms. Swetnick for coming forward should be ashamed. They claim these women should have “shut up” and stayed quiet. Apparently assault victims are to blame for the vote. This line of thinking is disgusting & offensive to all survivors.
— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) October 6, 2018
On Mon, @SenatorCollins called for an FBI investigation into my client’s allegations. We demanded the same repeatedly. It never happened because the GOP would not allow it. She then had the audacity yesterday to attack my client with no facts or evidence.https://t.co/sltAtzIqN3
— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) October 6, 2018
THIS is what panic mode looks like.
WHY? Because he’s GOT to realize he stepped in it. Many on the left are P*SSED at him for throwing his client’s absolutely ABSURD allegations into the ring… and therefore handily exposing this as the CHARADE it is.
THIS is why Democrats did NOT want Michael Avenatti to get involved in this fight. Collins is specifically citing Swetnick’s “gang rape” accusation as something that made her think she needed to give Kavanaugh the benefit of the doubt.

THANK YOU, AVENATTI!
Mikey is flipping out all over this thread.
Exactly.
— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) October 5, 2018
Exactly. I should have turned my back on my client. Told her to “shut up” and stay quiet because people like @rachaelmbade and @maggieNYT apparently believe assault victims are to blame. This line of thinking is disgusting and offensive to all survivors.
— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) October 5, 2018
Oh, honey… really? Told her to “shut up?”
You know what’s ACTUALLY offensive to survivors? The fact that you and your “client” are making up GANG RAPE allegations for personal gain. That’s what.
Avenatti is trying really hard to fight anyone who says this about him… but it’s gonna take him A LONG TIME. IT’s popping up everywhere.
Hard to state how much Avenatti’s entrance into this process hurt the Democratic effort to bring down Kavanaugh’s nomination. https://t.co/tcofogweNo
— Kyle Feldscher (@Kyle_Feldscher) October 5, 2018
You are right. I should have turned my back on my client. Told her to “shut up” and stay quiet because people like you apparently believe assault victims are to blame. This line of thinking is disgusting and offensive to all survivors. And it makes lawyers not want to help them.
— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) October 5, 2018
Literally never suggested that, but have a good weekend sir.
— Kyle Feldscher (@Kyle_Feldscher) October 5, 2018
BAHAHAHAHAHA.
THIS IS SO PATHETICALLY ENTERTAINING.
It sounds like she has about 500 reasons for voting for Kavanaugh. Still, Avenatti was extraordinarily unhelpful to Democrats. https://t.co/gRXnB63Sk2
— Nate Silver (@NateSilver538) October 5, 2018
Gotta wonder if Avenatti coming on board (and Feinstein referencing his client’s allegations at start of hearing) was a net positive for Kavanaugh by poisoning the well w. GOP senators like Collins. https://t.co/vEkhKF3wtN
— Nick Riccardi (@NickRiccardi) October 5, 2018
HAHAHAHAHA.
Basically the Democrats came up with Blasey Ford… and they thought they had this in the bag. Then Avenatti came up with HIS little stunt… and exposed it ALL for what it was. A FRAUD.
Sorry Avenatti, but you’re not gonna be able to Tweet this one away…
What a pathetic little weasel this man is.
