Trump Under Fire For ‘Sexist’ Remark To Female Reporter

President Trump just held a monster press conference in the Rose Garden. It was supposed to be all about the new trade deal with Canada and Mexico, but reporters pressed him and he eventually took questions on Kavanaugh. So the next time a whiny lib tries to tell you that Trump is closed off to the press, show them these clips of Trump openly putting up with their crap for over an hour.

At one point during the press conference, some female reporter– ABC correspondent Cecilia Vega– got the mic and mumbled about how she wasn’t thinking. It sounded like she said, “I’m not thinking Mr. President,” or “I’m not thinking that, Mr. President,” and he was all, “That’s OK. I know you’re not thinking. You never do.”

People are MAAAAAAD.

This took place in the Rose Garden and the reporter is @CeciliaVega from ABC. Before she even asked a question about Kavanaugh, Trump was questioning her intelligence. You can hear the crowd gasp at his comment in the video clip. There is ZERO ambiguity about what he meant here.

Obviously, that was SEXIST. Please ignore the fact that Trump would say that to ANYONE– male or female. You really don’t think he’d say the same to Jim Acosta? PLEASE. He totally would have. He probably HAS. You can hate the remark and say it was disrespectful. That’s FINE, but don’t try to make this about sexism, because it’s not.
