I never knew that a person could be “complicit” in a storm, but I guess I was wrong.
The Washington Post’s editorial board put out an article titled, “Another hurricane is about to batter our coast. Trump is complicit.”
This is the level of stupidity we’re dealing with at this point. Members of MSM are accusing Trump of colluding WITH A STORM, which he has absolutely NO CONTROL OVER.
Ah, see? That’s where I’m wrong. He does have control of the storm. At least, according to WaPo’s editorial board.
Yet when it comes to extreme weather, Mr. Trump is complicit. He plays down humans’ role in increasing the risks, and he continues to dismantle efforts to address those risks. It is hard to attribute any single weather event to climate change. But there is no reasonable doubt that humans are priming the Earth’s systems to produce disasters.
“Climate change”– of course! Because Trump isn’t into taxing carbon emissions and banning plastic straws, this is on him. He pulled us out of the Paris Climate Accords! Obviously, Hurricane Florence heard about this and was all, “Nope. Not going north anymore. I’m hitting the US East Coast, because TRUUUUUUUUUUUUUMP hates the planet! I’ll show him!”
It sounds insane, but that’s essentially what these people are suggesting. Interesting that these goons admit, “It is hard to attribute any single weather event to climate change.”
Oh. So what you’re saying is you CAN’T prove that mankind is causing severe hurricanes?
That’s what they’re accidentally saying. HOWEVER…

…oh. Awkward.
Someone wanna tell ’em?
Cue hurricane expert Joe Bastardi.
https://t.co/tJ2ae96o8c Hmmm did not see the author tweeting much on Aug 23 when the JMA showed the 2-3 week burst coming, strictly due to natural forcing it predicted. Wonder why
— Joe Bastardi (@BigJoeBastardi) September 11, 2018
Author blissfully unaware of natural changes that were occurring to force a 2-3 week burst into the atlantic basin, If he had seen this, and knew what it meant, he would not have written this, Then again maybe he would anyway, Well telegraphed burst just as shutdown coming is pic.twitter.com/R0n1FodtD7
— Joe Bastardi (@BigJoeBastardi) September 12, 2018
Nope. Man-made climate change.
Gee I wonder how something in 1954 could have got that high and whipped all these modern storms in the age of "climate change" pic.twitter.com/yzvsQ4bQ8b

Then why is this still 25 mb weaker than Gloria in 1985 which was over colder water in a bout the same place, 2 weeks later in season https://t.co/r1zs8PdzVb
— Joe Bastardi (@BigJoeBastardi) September 12, 2018
How was Gloria so much stronger in same place 2 weeks later in season and over colder water? They have no idea of what lead to this 2-3 week burst, no idea why it will be shutting down as fast as it ramped up and certainly no clue as to whether "climate change" did anything
— Joe Bastardi (@BigJoeBastardi) September 12, 2018
Tis a mystery!
You would think the magic co2 fairy would treat climate ambulance chasers better and with their storm and make it intensify. Then again if they blame @realDonaldTrump for it, maybe he decided he should weaken it just to expose their agenda driven attribution nonsense
— Joe Bastardi (@BigJoeBastardi) September 13, 2018
I wonder if Trump is responsible for the weakening the last 24 hours. He will certainly be responsible for re-strengthening https://t.co/THeLVqec2u
— Joe Bastardi (@BigJoeBastardi) September 13, 2018
It’s his fault. Any sign of weakening is just the hurricane having mercy on us. Trump didn’t build that.
Climate change is real?, No joke, The climate has been changing since time began, So is the weakening of the storm climate change? Or how about the fact in the last 50 years, major hurricane hits only 37% of what they were previous 50 years, https://t.co/0ro9LHiHvS
— Joe Bastardi (@BigJoeBastardi) September 13, 2018
Um…well… there’s a good reason for that, and that is…*disappears*
