Beto O’Rourke Campaign DENIES Asking Supporters To Help Illegal Immigrants Vote

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS CANNOT VOTE.

This isn’t up for discussion. No matter how much Democrats want to pretend that illegal immigrants should have all the same rights American citizens do – they don’t.

In fact, it’s A Federal Crime: 

In 1996, Congress enacted the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act, making it a federal crime for non-citizens to vote in any federal election (or state election, unless authorized by state law). As a penalty, ineligible non-citizens who knowingly vote may be deported. Additionally, a non-citizen who falsely claims to be a United States citizen is in violation of this law.

Which is why people were very, VERY confused when they received this text message:

“Hi, it’s Patsy here w/ Beto for Texas. Our records indicate that you’re a supporter. We are in search of volunteers to help transport undocumented immigrants to polling booths so that they will be able [to] vote. Would you be able to support this grassroots effort?”

…I’m sorry, WHAT?

The Beto campaign adamantly DENIES that they sent out the text… though it DID come from their automated text platform.

Honestly… would they do something so BLATANT? I don’t really think so.

According to Daily Wire:

O’Rourke’s spokesperson, Chris Evans, stated, “That was not an approved message by the campaign,” adding that the creator of the text was “not a volunteer with the Beto campaign.” Evans referred to the creator of the text as an “imposter.”

Hmm.. or just a rabid lib supporter trying to help by breaking ALL THE LAWS? Who knows.

O’Rourke’s campaign has been utilizing an app called Relay to reach millions of Texas voters; the campaign has announced a goal of texting all 3.5 million cellphones listed in a Texas voter records database. As The Washington Free Beacon notes, “According to Relay’s website, the company charges 8 cents per outgoing message for political campaigns.”

The Times reported, “A call to the number that sent the suspicious messages returned an automated message from Relay, the texting app used by the O’Rourke campaign.”

So the campaign may not have AUTHORIZED the text – but it DID come from their app.

So if we’re to believe that this had NOTHING to do with the Beto O’Rourke campaign – the person who sent this out either hacked into Beto’s campaign tools – or had access to them all along.

As for texting all 3.5 million cellphones listed in a Texas voter records database? They’re well on their way. Even Ted Cruz had to laugh about it:

Cruz has received text messages from the O’Rourke campaign. He quipped, “I’ve gotten three of them myself. My dad has gotten five. By the third one I was thinking, ‘maybe I should vote for him.’”

HAHAHAHA.

Note: if each of those 3.5 million listed cellphones gets ONE text each… that’s $280,000 on TEXTS. Ted Cruz’ dad has gotten FIVE…

…which just goes to show how much liberals from ALL AROUND THE COUNTRY are pouring money into Golden Boy Beto.
