Twitter Seems To Think Mike Pence Wrote The Anonymous Op-ed For NYT…

The New York Times published an anonymous op-ed written by a senior member of the Trump administration. It reads in part:

It’s not just that the special counsel looms large. Or that the country is bitterly divided over Mr. Trump’s leadership. Or even that his party might well lose the House to an opposition hellbent on his downfall.

The dilemma — which he does not fully grasp — is that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.

I would know. I am one of them.

To be clear, ours is not the popular “resistance” of the left. We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.

Well guys. Twitter users have a theory. They think Vice President Mike Pence is behind the op-ed, due the use of the word “lodestar.”

We may no longer have Senator McCain. But we will always have his example — a lodestar for restoring honor to public life and our national dialogue. Mr. Trump may fear such honorable men, but we should revere them.

Everybody is trying to guess who wrote the NYT op-Ed. Someone found a clue: In talking about the late Senator John McCain, it says “…a ‘lodestar’ for restoring honor to public life and our national dialogue.”

You know who’s used the word “lodestar” in his speeches?

Downie is right, if you google the White House web site, most of the references to “Lodestar” — the unusual word used in the anonymous NYT op ed — come from VP Pence. If I were writing this story, the anonymous source behind the New York Times op-ed would've intentionally used the word "lodestar" to make people think it's Mike Pence. If he were smarter than Mike Pence.

BOOM! Just about the only person in all of humanity who has used the word Lodestar in the past is Mike Pence.

Exit question: If Pence wrote this (I don’t believe he did– I think whoever wrote this used that word intentionally, knowing this would happen), does that mean the resistance loves him now or…? How does this work?

Does the so-called “Senior Administration Official” really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source? If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once!
