During yesterday’s hearing, Democratic senators interrupted 63 times before lunch, and 70 people were arrested from the audience. We weren’t even 30 seconds in today, and protesters started rudely interrupting. Some sorry chick repeatedly shouted, “Sham president.”

“Sham president, sham justice!” Protesters are already being taken out of Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing in its first moments https://t.co/WAwKBbR3CM pic.twitter.com/frE2BADuUE

Protesters yelling “This is a democracy!” and calling someone (unclear) “a criminal”

Protester screams: “You are gaslighting the American people!” – Larger group this time, very loud – #Kavanaugh keeps talking

It’s like every 30 seconds at this point. I want all of these protesters to raise their hands and punch themselves in the face. It seems like they’re acting out in orchestrated waves.
Protesters are quickly removed, #Kavanaugh keeps talking – but every interruption takes several seconds. ie, I don’t think we’re going to wrap on time…

Protests haven’t slowed at all. We all discussed this morning whether that had been exhausted yesterday. Clearly not. Latest chant: “No Trump puppet!” Grassley and Kavanaugh continue not to acknowledge –
— Shannon Bream (@ShannonBream) September 5, 2018
Kavanaugh wasn’t sure what to do because they’re SO FREAKING LOUD and SO FREAKING RUDE. Grassley ultimately told him to continue. If protesters want to ruin this for the rest of the American people, that’s on them.
ChairGrassley says – Fine, let these protesters have their free speech – if they want to keep interrupting the other 300 million people trying to hear from you …
— Shannon Bream (@ShannonBream) September 5, 2018
Protesters continue to pipe up – but seems they are quickly removed and neither Grassley nor #Kavanaugh is acknowledging them at this point

So far, Kavanaugh dropped two lines I really liked. (That I could hear, anyway. It’s hard when you have psycho feminist scumhags screaming in the back of the room.)
He acknowledged that no one is above the rule of law and also reaffirmed that he’s a “pro-law” judge.
“If you walk into my courtroom and you have the better legal arguments, you will win,” he stated.
Would Brett Kavanaugh rule against the president? “No one is above the law in our constitutional system,” he says https://t.co/WAwKBbR3CM pic.twitter.com/fkBA4vKvZ8

Stay tuned. We’re just getting warmed up.
