This is absolutely insane.
Democrats are holding up Brett Kavanaugh’s hearing. Sen. Kamala Harris kicked it off, and Blumenthal has been incapable of shutting his mouth ever since. He and his Democratic colleagues are calling for the hearing to be adjourned.
"I move to adjourn!"

Sen. Patrick Leahy: "I'm just sorry to see the Senate Judiciary Committee descend this way. I felt privileged to serve here under Republican and Democratic leadership for over 40 years. This is not the Senate Judiciary Committee I saw when I came to the U.S. Senate" pic.twitter.com/1Eb9mZDEZ5

Sen. Durbin: "We waited for more than a year with a vacancy on the Supreme Court under the direction of your leader in the U.S. Senate … The fact that we cannot take a few days or weeks to have a complete review of Judge Kavanaugh's record is unfair to the American people." pic.twitter.com/GodoA0Kfen

Of course, Feinstein had something to say too.
Sen. Feinstein: "Understand where we're coming from: it's not to create a disruption…It is to say, majority, give us the time to do our work, so that we can have a positive and comprehensive hearing on the man who may well be the deciding vote" on major issues. pic.twitter.com/CzIpf2LgIT

Grassley ultimately rejected Democrats’ request to delay Kavanaugh’s hearing over the “withheld” documents. They’re acting like they can’t do their job when 1.) They already made up their mind about hating Kavanaugh and 2.) They have more documents on Kavanaugh than any other Supreme Court nominee. This is a game. Grassley said they’ve had “more than enough time and material to assess Judge Kavanaugh’s qualifications for the US Supreme Court.”
I’m not sure which senator brought it up, but one mentioned an NBC tweet that suggested that Democrats had some sort of phone call yesterday and basically planned to interrupt this hearing in this manner. A Democratic senator admitted that they had a phone call but tried to downplay the fact that they planned anything.
We all know how these goons operate. PLEASE.
At this point, Grassley just asked his colleagues how long they’re going to continue to act like toddlers. As I write this very sentence, he still hasn’t finished his opening statement.
Meanwhile, 22 people have been arrested.
