September 4, 2018I recently attended a get-together where Congressman Paul Gosar gave a few thoughts and observations on what will happen if Democrats were to take the control of the House this November.

He had ONE thing to drill: impeachment proceedings WILL happen if Democrats take control of the House.
They’re very predictably waiting until AFTER the midterms – because they’re entirely aware of the fact that it won’t help them in November. If anything, this will be a WILDLY unpopular move – but when have the Democrats really cared what the PEOPLE want?
Anyway… Congressman Gosar is FAR from the only person who thinks this is their strategy if they do take control of the House.
On “Meet the Press” CNN’s Chuck Todd smirked as he played a clip of Trump discussing the possibility of impeachment.
Michael Steel, former John Boehner aide, slammed Chuck’s smarmy disbelief: if Democrats take control of the House in the midterm elections, impeachment “will happen.”
“So here’s President Trump. He looooves talking about impeachment,” snorts Todd.
He then asks if impeachment is “a great tool for the Trump base?”
“Impeachment is what WILL happen if House Democrats win the majority in 2018,” Steel responds.
Leigh Ann Caldwell counters that “impeachment will be a hard barrier to come across.”
Steel clarifies “We’re talking about impeachment, not conviction” …because what is there to CONVICT him on?
“You believe it’s going to be the way the House Republicans acted in the 90s?” Todd asks. “They’re going to do it, no matter what?”
Steele responds with a flat out “Absolutely.”
Cornell Belcher, a Democratic pollster, then chimes in to back Steel up, claiming Democrats are LYING about the entire thing.
“What the leadership is saying right now, they’re just flat-out lying, they’re going to impeach.”
So if you don’t get out and VOTE in November… you KNOW what happens next, folks.
