The services for John McCain dominated the news cycle most of the weekend. Understandably so. Regardless of how you feel about him, he was a significant figure in American politics. It’s just a shame that some of the services went beyond memorializing him. By that I mean, it’s a shame some people used the event to throw in jabs at Trump. It’s not the time or place.
Sadly, others decided to continue to throw jabs around, including Sen. Jeff Flake. Ashley wrote about it here, but here’s a reminder of his passive aggressive tweet directed toward President Trump:

There are sooooooo many things I could say about his two word quip, but I’ll just state the obvious. He used the word “decency” to describe a scene featuring Bill Clinton, AKA Gropey McGroperson. Seriously dude?
James Woods dropped him. He’s straight up throwin’ bows.
There is a literally a rapist in this picture. Are you insane? #DecencyMyAss https://t.co/6WsN6pxTri

DING DING DING we have a winner, and it’s…not Jeff Flake. His remark had NOTHING to do with praising decency and EVERYTHING to do with him getting the warm and fuzzies over people from both sides of the aisle finding common ground in hating Trump.
What a loser.
