September 1, 2018Ariana Grande performed “Natural Woman” at Aretha Franklin’s Memorial service yesterday.
Ok – so let’s get this out of the way – Ariana Grande’s dress was inappropriately short for a funeral.
I also know that the men in my life don’t see a woman’s short skirt as an invitation to be CREEPS. So to all of you saying “THIS IS AN INVITATION TO BE GROSS.” Well… you’re not giving men very much credit, are you?
Ok? Ok.
As I wrote yesterday… Bill Clinton seemed to have NO problem with her dress:

As it turns out, Bill’s not the ONLY one who got …weird. Bishop Charles Ellis III got all kinds of HANDSY… and it was BEYOND awkward.
Daily Caller notes that when Ariana’s performance was done, Bishop Charles Ellis III held her reeeeally close. “Bishop Charles Ellis III can be seen with his hand wrapped tightly around Grande’s side and dangerously close to her right breast for nearly a minute.”
You be the judge:
Yeeeeah. That would TOTALLY creep me out. In the video below you can tell she looks really uncomfortable.
“I’ve got to apologize because I have to brush up,” Ellis said, holding Grande close.
Grande seemed to be uncomfortable with the way Ellis is touching her and was leaning away from him for the duration of the encounter.
“When I saw Ariana Grande on the program, I thought that was a new something at Taco Bell,” Ellis joked.
WTF dude? Like… I get the joke. But that’s kind of a douchey thing to say at a funeral, isn’t it?
“Oh my god,” Grande laughed, as Ellis pulled her into his side and then gave her a tight hug.
“Girl, let me give you all your respect,” the bishop continued. “Did you all enjoy this icon? She’s an icon herself.”
He’s apologized for the awkward encounter:

To those people I say… TRUE gentlemen are gentlemen to EVERYONE – no matter who they are or what they’re wearing.
A man who turns into a CREEP at the sight of a pretty girl in a short dress was a creep all along. Sure… he may NOTICE… he may even look. But to act like a weirdo about it? Yup. That says as much about him as it does about the chick in the short skirt. If you entirely disagree…you may want to ask yourself if YOU might be a creep. Just saying.
