OMG… this is absolutely horrifying.
According to Fox News:
A body was found at Disney World in Florida early Saturday after firefighters were called to extinguish a car fire.
Deputies said they were called to 1209 Epcot Resorts Blvd. at 4:11 a.m. to assist the Reedy Creek Fire Department with a vehicle fire near Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course.
I’ve only been to Disney World once, and we didn’t hit up the golf course.
Have any of you been there? Is it really close to the main parks? This is so scary.
Firefighters discovered the body after putting out the fire, according to reports.
Homicide detectives with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office were investigating, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
No other information was released.
So we really don’t know what caused this… though I really don’t think it was an “accident.”
My guess is that someone was trying to cover up evidence of a murder by setting the victim’s car and body on fire.
I really hope authorities get to the bottom of this… and we’ll keep you informed when and if they do.
